The Monterosa Ski area is a must for any serious off-piste skier. With its 4000 square kilometres of wild, untouched terrain, the Monterosa truly is a paradise.

The Monterosa always offers new opportunities and adventures to those skiers, snowboarders and telemarker willing to take up the challenge.

If you are a beginner and want to learn how to ski powder, the terrain on the southern flanks of the Monterosa offers wide, low angle bowls – perfect to learn the necessary skills for the steeper couloirs.

The best and safest way to explore this wonderful area is under the expert guidance of our local mountain guides.

It is essential to master the right technique when skiing on powder snow, the movements required differ from those needed for groomed slopes. Exploring with a guide will help you get the best out of your off-piste skiing.

Zuba work closely with local mountain guides to offer you a selection of off-piste programmes to suit your personal requirements and ability. Some of these programmes can be a holiday in themselves, lasting several days or a week. Others can be incorporated into your normal ski trip.
